Urban Narratives: A Day in Warsaw

Urban Narratives: A Day in Warsaw
This project showcases moments from Warsaw.  I've wandered its streets for years, yet through the lens of my camera, I've come to see its corners anew. I chose moments that reveal Warsaw's different faces: the hustle of late afternoons as people rush home from work, and the quiet of early Saturday mornings when the streets are nearly empty.

As a 3D artist, my journey through the lens of photography presents a difference from my usual realm, where I control everything: the light, camera angle, and scene.

Photography introduces a beautiful challenge: the art of working within reality's constraints.

Unlike the limitless control I have in 3D, photography demands that I find beauty in what already exists. It's about capturing the moment as it unfolds, a fascinating shift that draws me in.
I'm especially drawn to how light interacts with the architecture. The classical buildings, with their rich details, play with light in captivating ways, creating patterns and textures that tell stories of the past. Meanwhile, the modern glass buildings reflect the light, showcasing a blend of old and new, of history and progress.
Through these photos, I aim to share how light and shadow define the city's character at different times of the day and how even familiar places can surprise us when we look at them through a camera lens.
